Night Time Economy and Partnership working
We work with West Yorkshire Police and Halifax Street Angels on a regular basis in Halifax Town Centre on Saturday evenings and some Bank Holidays to provide a safe place for revellers. We provide hot drinks, water, 'spikeys', flip flops, and blankets to those who need them.
Booking the Bus!
Let Sharon know if
you would like the bus to come along and support your group (the bus is
multi-coloured and very visible so attracts people!). If you know of a need
within the community which we might be able to help meet, or if you
would like to volunteer in any capacity from making a brew to using
your gifts and talents on the bus, please do not hesitate to contact Sharon:
If you would like me to come along and give a talk/presentation to your fellowship/group about the work of Busoasis, please do no hesitate to contact
me. Donations towards running the bus would be gratefully received.
The bus is fully accessible

Our Circuit also owns a football cage which is used with the bus where possible and we work alongside Youth
for Christ who manage it. This is a great resource to attract people of
all ages into an activity where relationships can be built up.
We are looking for volunteer
drivers... don’t worry you don’t need PSV or HGV! As we don’t carry any
passengers. Just hold a category B on your licence and have passed your
test before 1997 and be over 21.
Busoasis also works in partnership with Calderdale Food and support drop-in (run by Christian's Together), and family gathering, (on Youtube) at New Ebenezer once a month to provide a safe space and activities for families,
